1. Do I always need to measure, even for standard sizes?

Yes, we always recommend that. Even with standard sizes, it's important to check whether the door fits your situation. No two homes are exactly alike. By measuring in advance, you can be sure that you order the correct size and avoid surprises later on.

2. Do I measure before or after installing the floor?

Always after installing the floor. The final floor height determines the available space for the door. If you measure earlier, there is a chance that the door will not fit properly later.

3. At which points should I measure?

Always measure the width and height at multiple points:

For the height: left, middle and right
For the width: top, middle and bottom

4. What if my walls or floor are not perfectly straight?

That is common and not a problem. This is precisely why accurate measuring is important. Measure at multiple points and note the smallest or largest dimension (depending on your door type, see the measuring instructions for this). Are you unsure whether a standard size will fit? Then custom-made is often the safest choice.

5. What if I'm unsure about my measurement?
